This dark-brown, porteresque stout from Belgian Brewing Company 't Hofbrouwerijke has an off-white head. The nose is dark and fruity with a pleasant estery quality that is due in part to the Belgian yeast used to make the brew. It has a medium body with big, billowy carbonation and a 5.5% ABV. This helps highlight the sweet, dark fruity flavors such as cherry, plum, and currant that give this beer its signature flavor.
